• Quality customer service - Dentists usually handle claims for you, so there’s less paperwork. In fact, 99% of dentists accept assignment of benefit payments directly from MetLife on your behalf. Our network of providers and claims process help protect you against inappropriate costs and care.
• Mobile App & online service capabilities - Download our mobile app to find a dentist, view your ID card and get claim updates. Once you are enrolled, you have access to a tool on our MyBenefits site that allows you to look up the average cost for a service in your area. To use the MetLife mobile app, employees can choose to register at metlife.com/mybenefits from a computer or directly through the app. Certain features of the MetLife Mobile App are not available for all MetLife Dental Plans.
• Education & wellness – Our Oral Health Library, oralfitnesslibrary.com, offers valuable resources providing up-to-date information on oral health including interactive risk assessments for both adults and children. Like most group benefit programs, programs offered by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife) and its affiliates contain certain exclusions, exceptions, reductions, limitations, waiting periods, and terms for keeping them in force.
